I tried the Japantown location and thought that it was kind of mid, but my sister convinced me to try it again. I usually don't favor vegan dishes, but their creamy vegan ramen piqued my interest. I would definitely get this again! Creamy ramen (vegan) - 4.5/5, green ramen noodles topped with a bunch of kale, some spinach, seaweed, a pumpkin, a bell pepper, and some thin slices of kitsune tofu. The soup was a mushroom and soy milk broth. Delicious! The ramen was perfectly cooked, and the broth was milky. I was super grateful for the veggies.

Great ambiance, fast service, tasty food. Great all around! Definitely a few other items I want to try next time I'm in the area. 5 star ramen for sure

Best place to get ramen and noodles in downtown. Hinodeya is known for having big ass bowls of this good stuff on the menu. It may not be totally authentic but it's not like it's bad. Actually it's good. The bowls are packed full of noodles and whatever other toppings. A good place to go later. It's kind of as if many of the other Asian restaurants close early so it's nice to go to one that's actually open. This is located close to the Transamerica Pyramid. Has vegan choices. It's about $17 for a bowl of ramen. Has a lot to choose from. I got the Creamy Ramen. Full of stuff and we got stuffed after eating. This has vegan dashi broth with shiitake, soy milk, and original sesame sauce. Broth was creamy for certain. This also came with toppings including acorn spinach, bell peppers, inari, kale, nori seaweed, sesame seeds, shiitake, and spinach noodles. A filling and pretty satisfying meal for certain. There was a lot in the bowls but we ate all of it and then it was hard moving around to be honest. Good place to get Asian. It's got these big bowls so these help with prices. There's a few bowls on the menu that are okay for vegans and vegetarians.

Food was really good but service was whatever which is why I am giving 4 stars. The guy bringing out our ramen was super nice, but the lady working the tables looked like she didn't want to be there. She gave me the vibe of don't inconvenience her and at the same time I barely heard a sentence from her. She was pretty much silent and unwelcoming. I got the house ramen number 4 spice would definitely recommend. My husband got the miso ramen spice level 10. If you like spicy and can actually handle, I would suggest getting 4. If you love spicy like can handle spicy well, then a 10 will be good.
